ROSALIND KERVEN is an expert 
in world myths, legends and folk tales, 
which she has been collecting and retelling for many years. 
With an academic background in social anthropology, 
she has thousands of stories on file, 
from numerous countries and cultures.

Rosalind has written over seventy books, 
highly acclaimed by reviewers 
and published in twenty-two countries. 
She has worked for many publishers including 
Batsford, the British Museum, British Library, 
Cambridge University Press, DK, 
Oxford University Press and the National Trust, 
as well as her own small imprint, Talking Stone.  

She presents papers and online talks for 
the Folklore Society and university folklore departments, 
has written articles on traditional stories for 
FLS NewsGramarye and folklorethursday.com
and has contributed to both live and online events 
at the Scottish Storytelling Centre
